New Posting 17th October 2009Looking for Inspriration.....it is all around us. The centre for this quilt came from an image of a manhole cover that I took whilst in Budapest some years ago.

Here are two images of the new quilt ....."Louisa" that I am working on. Inspired by an applique quilt made between 1860 to 1890 this quilt is fast becoming one of my favourites. Instead of using a light background fabric I have chosen to use the chocolate background fabric from the panache range from Moda. For the centre of this quilt you will need to purchase 1.10 m. I may also use this fabric in the borders....this is still in the planning!! (

The pattern will most likely be available early in 2010 so start collecting your fabric now.
